Diet
Carnivorous. They primarily feed on small invertebrates and aquatic insects in the wild. In captivity, they can be fed a variety of foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, daphnia, and high-quality pellet or flake foods.
Community Compatibility
African Dwarf Frogs are compatible with peaceful community fish that won't view them as food or harass them. Avoid keeping them with aggressive or fin-nipping species. It's important to choose tank mates that won't outcompete them for food.
Gender Differences
Males are usually smaller and slimmer than females, and females may have a rounder body shape.
