The Blue Moscow Guppy is a selectively bred variety of the small livebearing species Poecilia reticulata. Its defining feature is a deep metallic blue colour that often extends across the body, fins and tail, although the exact shade and pattern vary between breeding lines. Males are usually the most intensely coloured, while females are larger and more subtly marked.Like other guppies, Blue Moscow Guppies are active, curious fish that spend much of their time exploring open water.
