Cobra Endler Guppy Care Guide

The Cobra Endler Guppy is a small, brilliantly coloured livebearer known for its intricate reticulated or snake-skin-like markings. Males typically display a vivid mosaic of orange, yellow, green, black and metallic blue, while females are larger and more subdued in colour. The Cobra pattern is a selectively maintained ornamental strain rather than a separate species.These fish are active, alert and constantly on the move, with males performing energetic courtship displays around females. Despite their lively behaviour, they are generally peaceful and are valued for their compact size and striking appearance. Their small stature makes their colours and patterns especially eye-catching in a group.Poecilia wingei is native to northeastern Venezuela, where wild populations occur in warm, shallow freshwater habitats such as lagoons, drainage channels and slow-moving streams.
