Gold Mickey Mouse Platy Care Guide

The Gold Mickey Mouse Platy is a selectively bred color and pattern form of the Southern Platyfish, Xiphophorus maculatus. Its warm golden-yellow body is accented by the characteristic dark Mickey Mouse-shaped marking at the base of the tail, making it one of the most recognizable ornamental livebearers in the aquarium trade.
