Diet
Placidochromis johnstoni is primarily herbivorous, feeding on algae and small invertebrates in the wild. In captivity, provide a diet rich in vegetable matter, including high-quality pellets and flakes with spirulina, as well as occasional treats of vegetables like zucchini and lettuce.
