The Red Galaxy Shrimp is a striking ornamental dwarf shrimp with a vivid red base colour, contrasting white markings and a speckled or galaxy-like pattern across its body. Individual patterns vary considerably, making each shrimp visually distinctive and highly sought after by shrimp enthusiasts.This shrimp is a peaceful, bottom-dwelling invertebrate that spends much of its time grazing across surfaces and investigating the substrate. It is active but delicate, and its small size allows it to explore narrow spaces among aquatic plants, wood and other submerged structures.Caridina cantonensis originates from freshwater streams and tributaries in southern China and Taiwan, where clear, cool, mineral-rich waters flow over rocky or gravelly beds.
