Red Rili Shrimp Care Guide

The Red Rili Shrimp is a striking freshwater dwarf shrimp with a vivid red head and tail separated by translucent or clear sections across the body. This contrasting pattern gives each individual a distinctive appearance, with color intensity varying between shrimp and changing subtly as they mature.Like other Neocaridina, it is an active grazer that spends much of its time walking across surfaces and picking at microscopic growths. It is generally peaceful and spends its days investigating plants, wood, rocks and substrate with its constantly moving legs and delicate appendages.The species Neocaridina davidi is native to parts of East Asia, where related wild populations inhabit slow-moving streams, ponds and shallow freshwater environments.
