Diet
Omnivorous. They are opportunistic eaters and will accept a variety of foods including pellets, flakes, frozen or live foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and small insects. They also consume algae and help control snail populations in the aquarium.
Community Compatibility
Yoyo Loaches can be kept with other semi-aggressive to peaceful species of similar size such as barbs, danios, and other loaches. Avoid keeping them with fin-nipping or aggressive species. Provide hiding spots, caves, and driftwood for their comfort.
